What Weekly – Kinetic Pow Wow Feature

We were mentioned in the latest issue of What Weekly, and there’s a nifty photo of us playing at Pow Wow – we love supporting Baltimore’s thriving arts scene and being a part of it! This kind of stuff makes our day!

All the Days of Edgeplay

Our music is being featured in the film ‘All the Days of Edgeplay’, with video created by our friend and artist Raven Black (http://www.facebook.com/raven.black1).  There will be a film showing tomorrow in Baltimore and we can’t wait to see how it will turn out. Here are some directions for those who are interested in coming; feel free to ask us if you have any questions.

- If coming from Fell’s- will be on the left hand side right after the exit’s for 95. Get in left lane and make a U-Turn when you see the huge sign that says Glass Grill and Glassblowing (blue and tan).

- If coming from 95- go towards Essex, immedatley left lane and again U-turn.

These are confusing times for the modern musician trying to proverbially “make it” – we are the blind pioneers, raised on the legends and myths of a dead era, lost and fumbling in the overwhelming potentiality of the Information Age. The god statues are crumbling, the rules are changing, and the only consolation we have left is our craft, our art – to arms, then, esteemed audience! Let us ride forth in these uncertain times for the music industry and rewrite the legends ourselves!

Pictures from UNITE!

A special thanks to Philip Edward Laubner, perhaps the greatest living photographer left after the Great Kodak Purge, and as always, we tilt our tophats to Kelly Ann Richmond for organizing the UNITE! event and for asking us to perform. If we stumble upon more photos they will be added! These four pictures will be followed by a visual representation of a moment of silence honoring the brave souls who perished to make this happen.

Thank you.
